RBT - Registered Behavior Technician

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. The RBT is responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based ABA therapy to support skill development, behavior reduction, and overall client progress. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA. Collect accurate and timely data on client behavior and skill acquisition. Follow behavior reduction protocols and reinforcement strategies as outlined by the BCBA. Maintain professional and ethical conduct in accordance with the BACB Code of Ethics. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision with the BCBA. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to support program goals. Ensure session documentation and client records are completed promptly and accurately. Assist in maintaining a safe, positive, and structured learning environment. Sessions may take place in homes, schools, clinics, or community settings. Schedule may include afternoons, evenings, and weekends, depending on client needs. Requirements Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred). Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and implement treatment plans with fidelity. Excellent data collection and documentation skills. Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physical activities such as sitting, standing, kneeling, and playing on the floor. Must be able to respond quickly to ensure client safety. #J-18808-Ljbffr
