We are seeking a warm, professional, and service-focused Concierge to join our Hospitality team for the evening shift.As one of the first points of contact in our community, you will welcome residents, families, guests, and vendors while providing front desk support and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.Position SummaryThe Concierge plays an important role in creating a welcoming and connected community. Designed with modern living in mind, The Variel combines thoughtful amenities, inviting spaces, and exceptional service to create an environment that feels welcoming, sophisticated, and distinctly like home.What You'll DoWelcome residents, families, guests, and vendors with professionalism and warmthAnswer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and courteouslyReceive and communicate messages accurately to the appropriate partiesProvide information, directions, and assistance to residents and visitorsManage front desk operations during the PM shiftOpen and close the front desk area and secure files, keys, and office equipmentAssist with transportation schedules, event registrations, appointments, and reservationsConfirm resident transportation and activity registrationsMaintain accurate records and documentation as assignedSupport community operations by handling multiple priorities while maintaining excellent customer serviceCreate a positive and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the luxury standards of The VarielQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious concierge, front desk, hotel, hospitality, customer service, or receptionist experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to type accurately and efficientlyStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesMust be dependable and able to work independently during evening hoursPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull as needed.Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as required to perform assigned duties.Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers and telephone systems.May be required to work weekends, holidays, evenings, or other shifts based on community needs.Equal Opportunity EmployerThe Variel of Woodland Hills is an equal employment opportunity employer.
