Job Description

Job Details:

Supervises the daily operation of the glaze preparation area.
Monitors production processes to ensure glaze quality control measures are met.
Maintains raw material inventories.Schedules production of base glaze for manufacture of required colors.
Coordinates maintenance needs for departmental operations.
Ensures operations are within specifications.Interviews applicants and trains employees as needed.
Complete all required training, including ergonomic, safety, health and environmental.
Identify and adjust workstation arrangement, work practices, and workflow to reduce risk factors.
Report issues to supervisor/manager when unable to control risk factor/s.
Report symptoms of injury/illness and concerns when first noted.
Participate in incident investigation.
Use ergonomic equipment provided.
Demonstrate safe work practices.
Promotes and adheres to all safety and health policies and procedures of plant.
Ensures safe and healthful working conditions and an organized work environment.
