Assembler – 3rd Shift: Freeport, IllinoisOur customer in Freeport, Illinois is looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join their team as Assemblers to work temporarily on 3rd shift. In this role, you’ll support quality and production efforts by inspecting, measuring, and sorting parts while maintaining accurate records. Candidates may be recent high school graduates, and no prior manufacturing experience is required — training is provided for individuals who are dependable and willing to learn.Responsibilities of the Assembler:Inspect parts for visual defects to ensure quality standards are met.Measure part dimensions using air gauges and basic inspection tools.Count, sort, and separate parts accurately based on work instructions.Assist with containment activities related to non-conforming parts.Maintain accurate inspection and count records.Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.Assembler Requirements and Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required (recent graduates encouraged to apply).No manufacturing experience required; willingness to be trained is essential.Ability to read instructions and keep accurate written records.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality procedures.Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.Ability to pass a 4-panel drug test.No felony convictions within the last 7 years and no violent offenses.Steel-toed boots required (partial reimbursement available through approved vendors).Reliable attendance for the duration of the temporary assignment.Pay for Assembler: $19.00/hour.Assembler Benefits:Health insurance.Paid time off.401k with company match.Paid weekly.Direct deposit.Paid training.Climate-controlled facility with air conditioning.Fully stocked break room with a variety of snack options.Paid breaks include a 20-minute lunch and a 10-minute break.Type: Temporary, 3rd ShiftSchedule: Sunday night – Thursday night from 11:00pm – 7:00am.
