Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist 2 to join the team. This role will be Day shift, M-F, (4) 10 hr. shifts. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

Interventional Radiology Technologist 2 Responsibilities:

• Effectively utilizes Inova Health System Inventory Management systems.
• Assists RNs to accurately explain procedures to patients and families to ease anxiety.
• Troubleshoots equipment effectively and places service calls to Biomedical when necessary.
• Anticipates procedure flow and works with other team members to produce the highest quality care.

Interventional Radiology Technologist 2 Additional Requirements:

• Work schedule: Day shift, M-F, (4) 10 hr. shifts, 1 weekend per month and 1-2 shifts per week of call
• Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry in Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiovascular (CV) or Cardiovascular Interventional(CI)
• Licensure - Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist is required only if the position is located in a free-standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital.
• Experience - One year of work experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Education - Vocational/Technical degree in the area of study in Radiologic Technology; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography
