Travel Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting as part of a Rapid Response Float Pool
• Float across ICU units as needed to meet census and staffing demands
• Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients throughout the night shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS may be required
• Ability to float across ICU units within a float pool environment
• Strong critical care assessment and clinical decision-making skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting
• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit staffing model
• Familiarity with rapid response or high-acuity patient populations
