Paralegal Specialist
Department of Justice
Paralegal Position
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for Paralegal work. Typical work assignments will include:
- Preparing and organizing trial exhibits, documents, memoranda, reports and correspondence.
- Organizing data and developing trial exhibits such as statistical charts, graphs, and timelines to be presented in court.
- Providing substantive assistance to Assistant U.S. Attorneys on litigative matters.
- Drafting initial legal and administrative briefs, U.S. Attorney Office motions, oppositions to defense motions and correspondence for Assistant U.S. Attorneys review.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
