You bring subject matter expertise in thermal management, propulsion, or climate control, along with a solid understanding of system-level thermal analysis. At Synopsys, you will work with customers solving hard thermal and fluids challenges across aerospace, automotive, and industrial sectors, and what you help them figure out will directly shape how their products perform.Deploy the full Ansys simulation toolset, including AI-based platforms, to help customers solve thermal management, propulsion, and climate control problems using your own engineering judgment and simulation expertise.Work directly with customers to ensure high satisfaction and successful adoption of Ansys simulation software, troubleshooting workflows and guiding best practices.Build deep subject matter expertise in Ansys thermal and fluids products, becoming the go-to resource for both customers and internal teams.Evaluate AI-based support platform responses for technical accuracy and relevance, helping improve how automated tools assist engineers.File defect reports, verify fixes, and participate in field testing of new releases to ensure features and workflows meet real customer requirements.Support Sales and Marketing teams with technical expertise during customer engagements, demos, and strategic initiatives as needed.Contribute to product improvement by submitting feature requests and workflow recommendations based on customer feedback and your own technical insight.Document and share knowledge to improve team effectiveness, support consistency, and customer outcomes.Enable faster, more accurate thermal and fluids simulations for customers designing next-generation aerospace, automotive, and industrial systems.Reduce time-to-resolution for complex customer issues, directly improving their product development timelines and confidence in simulation results.Shape the evolution of Ansys simulation tools by providing engineering-grounded feedback that influences product roadmaps and feature prioritization.Expand customer adoption and proficiency with Ansys platforms, turning occasional users into power users who rely on simulation throughout their design process.Strengthen the bridge between customer needs and internal development teams, ensuring product capabilities align with real-world engineering challenges.Help define how AI-based support technologies can augment engineering expertise, making simulation more accessible without sacrificing rigor.Build a knowledge base and best practices that elevate the entire support organization's ability to solve thermal and fluids problems at scale.BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related Engineering Physics field with 5+ years of experience in engineering software environments, or MS with 2+ years, or PhD.Deep understanding of system-level thermal analysis with hands-on expertise in thermal management, propulsion, or climate control systems using commercial thermal or flow network modeling software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers and cross-functional internal teams.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain a sense of urgency.2+ years of experience using Thermal Desktop, RadCAD, FloCAD, OpenTD API, or TD Direct is highly desirable; experience with NX-Thermal, Maya HTT TMG, ESATAN, SINDA, TSS, Flowmaster, GT-Suite, Amesim, Thermica, or Easy5 will also be considered.You stay organized across multiple customer cases without losing track of details or letting anything slip through the cracks, even when priorities shift.You can translate complex thermal physics into language that makes sense to a project manager or sales engineer.You are self-motivated and know when to pull in help or escalate an issue.You enjoy learning new simulation methods and tools, and you are the kind of person who experiments with a new feature before the documentation is even finished.You bring professionalism and business sense to customer interactions, understanding that technical excellence matters but so does responsiveness, follow-through, and making customers feel heard.You will join the Ansys Customer Excellence Global Technical Support team, a diverse group of talented engineers and technical specialists dedicated to empowering customers and advancing simulation-driven innovation.
