Property Accountant
$60,000 - $80,000

Liberty Personnel is working with a Top-Rated Property Management & Development client adding a Staff Accountant to their Property Accounting Team due to the growth of their portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for your assigned portfolio
- Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports for your assigned portfolio
- Prepare quarterly portfolio reviews
- Record CapEx transactions for property upgrades, changes, financing
- Maintain lease schedules and maintain rent rolls for your portfolio
- File state returns tax returns as needed.
Skills / Required Background
- 2+ years of property accounting experience
- 2+ years of public accounting experience with fund or real estate clients preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are a must
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Yardi or Property Management Software experience is a plus
