This is a direct hire opportunity.What You'll Do:As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling various parts of custom wheelchairs using basic tools such as tape measures and screwdrivers. Your role includes ensuring quality standards, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to safety protocols. You will work closely with team members to meet daily production goals and support the overall manufacturing process. Your attention to detail and sense of responsibility will directly impact the quality of products delivered to customers. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6AM to 2:30PM, daily overtime as needed Wage: Starting at $17.00 per hour based on experience.Required Skills:Attention to detail with a focus on qualityAbility to use basic mechanical tools (tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches)Effective communication skills, both written and oralAdaptability to changing priorities and a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of quality control and inspection processesPhysical ability to lift and handle wheelchairs and accessories (up to 65 pounds) and perform repetitive movements such as standing, bending, and twistingNice to Have Skills:Experience in manufacturing or assembly environmentsFamiliarity with reading engineering drawings and work instructionsExperience working with hand and measuring toolsPreferred Education and Experience:Experience working in manufacturing, fabrication, or assemblyProven ability to work independently and as part of a teamPrior experience with quality inspections and documentationOther Requirements:Ability to work scheduled hours from 6:00am to 2:30pm, including mandatory overtime and occasional Saturday shiftsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaWillingness to perform additional duties as neededJoin us and be part of a dedicated team committed to producing essential mobility equipment.
