Weekend On-Call Caregiver

Position Summary A Place At Home is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and flexible Weekend On-Call Non-Medical Caregiver to provide quality in-home support to clients when coverage is needed. This position will participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule, providing coverage and assistance when weekend staffing needs arise. Essential Responsibilities Provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship to clients. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, as assigned. Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping related to the client's care. Provide medication reminders as permitted by the care plan and applicable regulations. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients. Follow each client's individualized care plan and service instructions. Communicate changes in a client's condition or needs promptly to the appropriate office staff. Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA and company policies. Accept weekend fill-in assignments and respond promptly to on-call communication. Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance. Weekend On-Call Expectations Maintain availability and communication with the office during agreed-upon on-call periods. Be willing to accept short-notice shifts. Provide timely confirmation when contacted regarding an available shift. Demonstrate flexibility when client schedules or staffing needs change. Notify the office as soon as possible if an emergency prevents you from accepting or completing an assignment. Qualifications 1 Year caregiving experience. Compassionate, dependable, and professional. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and follow care plans. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required. Ability to pass required background checks and meet company and applicable state requirements. Ability to pass required drug tests and meet company policy.
