Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers as they enter the shop. Assist customers in selecting desserts and beverages. Take orders accurately and efficiently. Answer customer inquiries about ingredients, allergens, and menu items. Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and promptly. Food Preparation Prepare desserts according to standard recipes and quality standards. Ensure all desserts are fresh and presented attractively. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of any shortages. Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices at all times. Keep workstations clean and organized. Cashier Duties Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. Process credit/debit card payments and handle electronic transactions. Calculate and issue accurate change to customers. Balance cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier counter. Cleaning and Maintenance Clean and sanitize all equipment, utensils, and surfaces regularly. Sweep and mop floors as needed to maintain cleanliness. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly. Wipe down tables, chairs, and countertops throughout the day. Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, ensuring the shop is ready for business. Team Collaboration Communicate effectively with other team members and management. Assist colleagues during busy periods or when extra help is needed. Work together to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Attend team meetings and training sessions as required. Offer feedback and suggestions for improving operations and customer service. Upselling and Promotion Recommend additional items or upgrades to customers based on their preferences. Inform customers about special promotions, discounts, or new menu items. Encourage customers to sign up for loyalty programs or follow the shop on social media. Participate in promotional events or tastings to attract new customers.
