Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetrics, gynecology, vascular, and more specialized imaging techniques
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams, providing clear guidance and support
• Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain imaging equipment and address any operational issues swiftly
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient information in an electronic medical record system
• Keep abreast of advances in ultrasound technology and integrate best practices into workflows

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preference given to candidates who have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
