Lindsay Ackerman , MD, established Medical Dermatology Specialists (MDS) in the fall of 2008, with another physician joining in September 2009. In 2018, MDS Phoenix became part of our organization.

The Phoenix dermatology practice is dedicated to providing medical dermatology services, treating both pediatric and adult patients with a range of conditions from mild inflammatory or infectious diseases to autoimmune disorders and blistering conditions. Our dermatologists also offer procedural dermatology services for both benign and malignant conditions, as well as aesthetic procedures like chemical peels, chemodenervation, and facial sculpting. We take pride in offering Mohs surgery for skin cancer removal, performed by our fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon.

When you visit our Phoenix office, you will see our commitment not only to our patients' skin health but also to the environment. The office features eco-friendly materials, including cork flooring and recycled glass countertops, a vision realized by Dr. Lindsay Ackerman and Wendy Ackerman of Ackerman Art & Design.

Our board-certified specialists see patients in our office as well as at local hospitals for those who are acutely ill or hospitalized.
