At least 6 months of Cath Lab or Cardiac Intervention Lab experience is needed. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is important.Recommended skills include knowledge of intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) setup and monitoring, ability to respond to cardiac alerts and STEMI cases, and strong critical thinking.
