Job Description
Responsible for the health and well-being of patients/residents. Create nutritional programs and offers counseling and lifestyle coaching.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess patients'/residents' nutritional and health needs
- Counsel patients/residents on nutritional issues and healthy eating habits
- Develop meal and nutritional plans
- Evaluate and monitor the effects of nutrition plans and practices and make changes as needed
- other duties as assigned
Job Requirements: Must be credentialed as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist or Registered Dietitian and registered with and in good standing with the Mississippi State Board of Health. Experience in hospital and/or nursing home setting preferred.
