Project Executive - Mission Critical

Base pay range $230,000.00/yr - $275,000.00/yr Location: Iowa (can be worked on a travel basis) Project Executive – Mission Critical / Data Center Construction Overview A top-tier, nationally recognized general contractor is seeking a seasoned Project Executive to lead complex, large-scale data center projects across the U.S. With an industry reputation for innovation, client trust, and delivery excellence, this firm is expanding its mission-critical portfolio and looking for a dynamic leader to drive success on the most sophisticated builds in the country. Your Role As Project Executive, you\'ll oversee every aspect of the project lifecycle—from preconstruction through closeout—ensuring financial health, client satisfaction, and field execution excellence. You’ll be the strategic lead interfacing between clients, internal teams, trade partners, and executive leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor project teams across multiple large-scale data center projects (typically $100M+) Drive preconstruction efforts, budgets, GMP development, and procurement strategies Serve as the primary client point-of-contact for all project phases Manage financial performance, forecasting, and risk mitigation Foster a high-performance culture centered on collaboration, safety, and integrity Develop and maintain strong industry relationships and market presence What You Bring 10+ years of experience in commercial construction with at least 5 years in mission-critical/data center environments Proven track record delivering large, complex ground-up projects for blue-chip clients Deep understanding of MEP systems, scheduling, cost control, and team development Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Why Join Our Client?
