Production Specialist

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Production Workers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced coffee roasting facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in an assembly line environment. This role involves assembling products, operating various tools, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Key responsibilities for Production Specialist:

Weighing and grinding coffee:

Precisely measure the required amount of coffee beans and grind them to the desired consistency based on customer specifications.

Bag filling:

Fill coffee bags with the weighed coffee, ensuring consistent weight and proper sealing.

Labeling and packaging:

Affix accurate labels with product information (blend name, roast level, weight) on each coffee bag.

Inventory management:

Monitor and maintain stock levels of coffee beans and packaging materials, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.

Quality control:

Inspect each bag for proper sealing, labeling, and appearance, ensuring quality standards are met.

Machine operation:

Operate bagging equipment, scales, grinders, and other relevant machinery efficiently.

Cleaning and sanitation:

Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, including regular cleaning of equipment and surfaces.

Skills and qualifications:

• Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in weighing and packaging is crucial.
• Basic math skills: Ability to calculate weights and quantities accurately.
• Physical stamina: Standing for extended periods and lifting bags of coffee beans.
• Good hand-eye coordination: Precisely operating machinery and handling bags.
