Credit Investment Professional

Location: New York, NY & West Palm Beach, Florida Firm Overview: A specialized investment management firm is seeking an Investment Professional to join its team. The firm focuses on lending to critical technology sectors, including microelectronics, biotechnology, advanced computing, clean energy, AI, cybersecurity, and energy infrastructure. Role Responsibilities: The Investment Professional will evaluate, underwrite, and execute debt investment opportunities in companies undergoing transformation through growth, product launches, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives. The individual will work closely with senior team members and partners to assess investment theses, structure transactions, and support portfolio management. Key responsibilities include: Performing detailed analysis and underwriting of potential investments. Developing and maintaining financial models and valuation frameworks. Conducting industry, market, and company-specific diligence. Preparing investment committee materials and presenting recommendations. Supporting deal execution, including coordinating diligence and legal documentation. Monitoring portfolio company performance and supporting value creation initiatives. Collaborating with stakeholders to support investment strategy. Qualifications: Experience: At least 3 years in investment evaluation and execution, preferably at a private credit firm, private equity, or investment bank with a focus on technology, A&D, or cybersecurity. Industry knowledge: Familiarity with sectors like AI, defense, and advanced computing, and ability to assess their financial and strategic impact. Analytical skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, technical analysis, and credit underwriting. Execution mindset: Ability to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced environment. Team player: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach. Travel flexibility: Willingness to travel for diligence, execution, and monitoring.
