Principle Maintenance Technician

Baxter seeks an experienced maintenance technician to support manufacturing operations at its Mountain Home facility. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production equipment while driving process improvements and training junior technicians.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automated production machinery to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve root cause technical issues independently or as part of a team
- Lead maintenance projects, contractor oversight, and training of new technicians
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams on process improvements and capital projects
- Implement new manufacturing practices, PLC systems, and control solutions to drive innovation
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years relevant maintenance experience or 3 years as Principal Maintenance Technician
- High school diploma or GED; technical associate degree preferred
- Proficiency with electrical systems, PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley), and mechanical equipment
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of GMP practices, safety protocols, and technical documentation
- Ability to lead contractors and maintenance staff with minimal engineering support
Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 base annually
