Key Responsibilities of the Travel Respiratory Therapist

• Ventilator management experience in NICU and adult critical care
• Emergency airway care and CPAP/BiPAP management
• Perform high flow oxygen therapy and administer aerosolized medications
• Conduct arterial punctures and manage A-lines
• Utilize and document procedures using the Meditech Expanse system
• Collaborate in a small team setting with a compassionate focus on patient care

Requirements of the Travel Respiratory Therapist

• State of Virginia license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) accepted
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience with NICU exposure
