Shipping & Receiving Clerk - 1st Shift
- Location: Marion, OH
- Job Type: Direct Hire
- Shift: 1st Shift 8am - 4pm
- Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders according to company procedures.
- Accurately match and verify 9-digit part numbers and inventory records.
- Maintain shipping and receiving documentation and records.
- Coordinate deliveries and pickups with carriers, customers, and internal departments.
- Operate company vehicles as needed for deliveries and customer visits.
- Travel to customer sites when required.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Outlook for tracking shipments, inventory, and communication.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous shipping and receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately match part numbers and inventory records.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record required.
- Must be eligible to drive company vehicles based on insurance carrier requirements.
- Physical Requirements
- Frequently move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Utilize safe lifting practices, including team lifting (buddy system) for items exceeding 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must pass a physical abilities test (PAT).
- Must successfully complete a background check.
