Network Cable Technician

Five Rivers Analytics is looking for a Network Cabling Technician that is available and willing to accept a 1+ year temporary assignment in Boston, MA. The Network Cabling Technician (1+ Year Temporary Hire) will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a variety of wired systems across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge to include a variety of Networking technologies, including Fiber Optic Cable Testing, Copper Wire replacement, VoIP and legacy phone systems. Responsibilities Available for a long-term temporary role (1+ year) with potential for full-time hire. Designs and installs well-functioning computer networks, connections and cabling. Performs troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network. Inspects LAN infrastructure and fixes minor or major issues. Evaluates network performance and find ways of improvement for wired cable infrastructure. Organizes and schedules upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their own work. Qualifications Minimum Interim Secret is required. Experience working with LAN cable replacement and troubleshooting. COMPTIA Security+CE (IAT-Level II) certification or COMPTIA NET+ Certification. Great attitude and strong communication skills. Desired Qualification: Active Secret Level Clearance.
