Step into a pivotal role supporting students’ communication and academic success for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract SLP opportunity offers a unique experience, splitting your expertise between a special education preschool and an elementary school each week. Located just outside Columbia, MO, you’ll work a consistent schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, engaging with a diverse student population and making a lasting difference.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP-CCC certification
• Eligibility for state licensure in Missouri
• Previous school-based experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and collaborative consultation models
• Flexibility to work across different school settings and age groups
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and provide direct therapy services
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other staff to support generalization of skills
• Maintain accurate documentation and ongoing communication regarding student progress
• Split services equitably between preschool and elementary settings, adapting activities to different developmental needs
• Participate in team meetings and professional development
