Job Title: Lead Radiologic Technologist

Location: New Brunswick, NJ

Department: Diagnostic Radiology

Status: Full-Time

Shift: Night

Compensation: $50.93 - $61.65 per hour

Pay Transparency: The stated hourly wage range reflects the expected compensation for this role in New Jersey. The final salary offered will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's educational qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.

The primary responsibility of this role is to produce specialized images of specific body parts for medical evaluation and interpretation.

• Required:
  • ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology
  • New Jersey radiology license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Preferred:
  • At least two (2) years of experience as a radiology technician

• Delivering radiographic images or positioning fluoroscopic equipment as directed.
• Minimizing radiation exposure to patients.
• Ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures.
• Selecting and preparing contrast media for radiographic and special examinations.
• Processing radiographic images for the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Verifying patient identity and ensuring the correct body part is indicated on all images.
• Managing x-ray requests efficiently.
• Assisting in the training of student technologists.
• Demonstrating technical skills to student radiographers.
