Snelling Staffing is recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper for a respected nonprofit organization in Lubbock. Key Responsibilities
• M anage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
• Prepare deposits and maintain cash receipt records
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll records
• Track grants, donations, memberships, sponsorships, and fundraising revenue
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with annual audits and year-end financial documentation
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and internal financial policies
• Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service
• Support daily administrative office operations
• Participate in occasional special events and rotating weekend management coverage

Qualifications
• 2 + years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience with nonprofit, fund, or grant accounting is a plus
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional customer service and telephone etiquette
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
