Team Overview

The Pricing function is a strategic enterprise capability responsible for maximizing customer value, revenue growth, profitability, and commercial effectiveness across IPC's portfolio of trading communications, connectivity, and cloud-based services. The team works closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Legal, and Operations to establish pricing strategies, governance, monetization frameworks, and value-capture initiatives that support IPC's growth objectives.

As IPC continues to scale its recurring revenue and subscription-based offerings, the Pricing organization serves as a key advisor to executive leadership, helping guide pricing decisions through data, customer insights, market intelligence, and financial analysis.

Role Overview:

The Pricing Program Manager leads the day-to-day operation of IPC’s Pricing Desk, establishing the operating cadence, governance, workflows and accountability needed to execute pricing, renewal and value-capture initiatives effectively.

Partnering across Pricing, Product, Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Legal, Operations and Order Management, this role manages pricing approvals and exceptions, monitors renewal and pricing performance, delivers executive reporting, and supports pricing technology adoption and knowledge transfer to build a scalable internal capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and operate IPC's Pricing Desk, establishing the weekly operating cadence, priorities, targets, and execution plans.
• Own governance processes, approval matrices, pricing exception management, and escalation frameworks.
• Monitor revenue leakage, pricing performance, renewal execution, and value-capture initiatives against business targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Pricing, Product, Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Legal, Operations, and Order Management.
• Maintain visibility into renewal pipelines, annual price increases, discount reduction initiatives, and pricing execution activities.
• Produce executive reporting, dashboards, and value-capture performance updates for senior leadership.
• Drive operational discipline through defined workflows, service level agreements, and accountability mechanisms.
• Support implementation and adoption of pricing technology solutions, including CPQ, CLM, workflow automation, and AI-enabled tools.
• Lead onboarding and knowledge transfer activities to establish a sustainable internal pricing capability.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Create an effective operating rhythm for IPC’s Pricing Desk that keeps pricing, renewal and value-capture initiatives moving forward with clear priorities, ownership and accountability.
• Strengthen pricing governance by improving approval workflows, exception management, escalation paths and adherence to defined service levels.
• Improve revenue realization by increasing visibility into renewal execution, annual price increases, discount reduction initiatives, pricing performance and revenue leakage.
• Enable faster, better-informed decisions through accurate dashboards, executive reporting and coordinated action across Pricing, Product, Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Legal, Operations and Order Management.
• Help build a scalable internal pricing capability by supporting technology adoption, workflow automation, onboarding and knowledge transfer.

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in pricing, commercial operations, revenue operations, program management, or transformation leadership.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional business initiatives involving Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations.
• Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models, contract renewals, deal governance, and revenue management processes.
• Experience establishing operating cadences, governance structures, KPIs, and executive reporting.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability without direct management authority.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• MBA, PMP, or relevant program-management certification.
• Experience launching or scaling a centralized Pricing Desk or Deal Desk.
• Familiarity with change-management and process-improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience designing service-level agreements, approval matrices, and workflow controls.
• Hands-on experience implementing CPQ, CLM, or workflow-automation platforms.
• Experience supporting a private equity-backed transformation or value-creation program.
