Job Opportunity: Gastroenterologist

We are looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our gastroenterology team in Corbin, Kentucky. Our physician-led initiative is in search of a dedicated and empathetic physician to enhance our practice.

Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

We provide both routine and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic and surgical procedures.

We are a multispecialty, physician-led medical group comprising nine hospitals and over 1,500 healthcare providers, including 800 physicians and more than 700 advanced practice clinicians. Our facility, a 273-bed acute and skilled-care hospital, serves over 200,000 residents in southeastern Kentucky and parts of Tennessee. We offer a diverse range of specialties, including interventional and general cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology, women's health, orthopedics, and primary care. Our physicians benefit from cutting-edge technology, including a state-of-the-art 264-slice cardiac CTA and two fully equipped catheterization labs, supported by strong referral networks and experienced teams.

Our behavioral health program features 59 inpatient beds catering to adults, geriatric patients, and adolescents. Additionally, we lease space to a 32-bed long-term acute care hospital (LTAC) on our campus, providing extended recovery care for medically complex patients.

We are currently investing $100 million in an expansion project that will add an 80,000-square-foot patient care wing, with completion anticipated in early 2027. This development will introduce new private inpatient rooms, expand our emergency department, and significantly enhance ICU capacity, supported by over $15 million in local philanthropic contributions.

Emergency preparedness and regional access are key strengths of our facility, featuring an on-site helipad and a partnership with Air Evac Lifeteam, a leading air medical transport provider. We also operate two ambulances to ensure prompt and reliable patient transfers throughout the region.
