Physical Therapist (PT) - Newton, IA 

Part-Time | PRN

Make a meaningful impact while helping patients regain mobility, confidence, and independence in a welcoming community just outside the Des Moines metro. Blue Stone Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Newton, IA , providing individualized therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting.

You'll become part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while building meaningful relationships with the people you serve.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy focused on improving mobility, balance, strength, safety, and functional independence
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve the best patient outcomes
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in accordance with state licensure requirements
• Complete timely, accurate documentation supporting quality patient care and regulatory compliance

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Physical Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in Iowa
