WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BE DOING:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to) Use of hand held computer to receive incoming and outgoing freight Picking product for Customer Orders and staging for loading Loading orders on semi-trucks Unloading stock onto racking Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition to ensure truck is safe Check Load and secure to D.O.T. Regulations. Make sure the load is safe and legal before moving Drive truck safely and legally to customer locations and return Open curtains, unstrap product, count and check product for damage and shortages Assist receivers in unloading and loading the truck Maintains driver logs and inspection reports according to D.O.T. regulations Maintain a professional image at all times Must be able to be forklift certified to aid in loading, unloading, and general warehouse work Must be able to work flexible schedule

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Good to Exceptional Mathematic skills are essential Punctual, Self-Motivated and Reliable Exceptional Customer Service Skills Exceptional Organizational Skills Must possess a Class A CDL with air brake endorsement Must be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical Must pass a DOT Pre-employment drug test Must be able to be forklift certified

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to able to hand lift 100 pounds occasionally, 70 pounds repetitively Products of 100 or more are lifted with forklift Able to obtain a D.O.T. medical card.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
