General Dentist Opportunity | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | Lafayette, IN

We're looking for a General Dentist to join an established practice in Lafayette for an initial 3-month locum assignment, with the flexibility to extend or transition into a permanent position. You'll step into an established patient base , allowing you to stay productive while providing a broad range of general dentistry. With a supportive team and the option to pursue a permanent role , this is a great way to experience the practice firsthand and decide if it's the right long-term fit for you.

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Assignment: 3 months minimum with option to extend

Temp-to-Perm: Available for providers interested in a permanent opportunity

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9A-5P

Patient Population: All ages

Position Highlights

• Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend requirements
• Established patient base with 15-20+ patients per day
• 2-3 doctor columns plus 1 hygiene column
• Strong clinical variety with bread-and-butter dentistry and opportunities to perform advanced procedures
• Temp-to-perm pathway if you're looking for a long-term home
• Experienced support team to keep the day running smoothly
• Mix of PPO, HMO, Medicaid, and FFS patients

What You'll Do

Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including:

• Preventive care and comprehensive exams
• Fillings and restorative dentistry
• Crowns and bridges
• Implant restoration
• Root canal therapy based on your comfort level
• Simple and surgical extractions
• Dentures
• Treatment planning and patient education
• Other bread-and-butter general dentistry procedures

**Surgical and cosmetic experience is preferred , particularly experience with implants and endodontics . An Invisalign certification is a plus , but not required .
