Details Med/Surg unit with 30 beds Adult and geriatric patient population Common diagnoses/treatments include pneumonia, surgery, and ETOH Patient ratio of 1:5 Uses remote telemetry equipment Meditech EHR Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required No extra call except for possible low census call Floating to other departments required, excluding ICU or OB Requirements Active RN license (ID or Compact) required BLS certification required AHA certifications required Minimum 1 year of RN experience required RN degree required Active Nursys/licensure required at time of consideration Copies of required certifications needed for consideration Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Deliver Med/Surg nursing care to an adult and geriatric patient population Weekly orientation provided Scrub color is flexible or facility-provided Team environment values kindness and willingness to help coworkers Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at local rate Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-749167.
