FIELD TECHNICIAN | LASER METROLOGY

Based in Lackawanna, NY

$60,000-$100,000+/Year

✈️ 50% Travel (Local & Nationwide)

⏰ 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | Typically 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites approximately 50% of the time
• Set up and operate laser trackers, scan arms, and CMM equipment
• Perform precision measurements, alignments, and inspections
• Support reverse engineering and 3D modeling projects
• Read blueprints and apply GD&T principles
• Collect, document, and communicate measurement data
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain metrology equipment

✅ Qualifications

• Willingness to travel extensively
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools

⭐ Bonus Experience (higher pay offered)

• Engineering, STEM, or technical education
• Metrology, inspection, or quality experience
• Laser measurement technology
• Reverse engineering or 3D scanning
• Manufacturing, power generation, or hydro-turbine environments

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
