About the Position

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) | Nights | Washington

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled L&D nurse who thrives in a fast-paced birthing center and is comfortable caring for both mothers and newborns throughout the continuum of care.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights
• Schedule: Weekend Nights (Friday & Saturday)
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
• Start Date: 06/29/2026
• EMR: EPIC

Must-Have Skills:

• Comfortable attending deliveries independently
• Experience circulating C-sections
• Ability to assist with newborn transition and delivery support
• Experience caring for postpartum mothers and newborns
• Ability to titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients

Patient Population:

• High-risk pregnancies
• Preeclampsia
• Diabetic patients
• Maternal behavioral health and social support cases
• Patients 33 weeks gestation and above

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 Years of Recent L&D Experience
• Prior Travel Experience Required (No First-Time Travelers)
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current NRP Certification
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (Preferred)
• Strong Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Experience
