Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8AM to 5PM
Location : Humble, TX 77338

Established office with pleasant environment is looking for a collector/billing agent for their location in Humble, TX.
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Collection Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing outstanding accounts and ensuring timely collections while maintaining positive relationships with clients. This position requires strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on overdue accounts through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
- Negotiate payment arrangements with clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Document all interactions and maintain accurate records of account statuses in the financial software.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate billing.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their accounts.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years minimum prior experience in simliar role
- Familiarity with accounts payable is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
- Experience with Prelude ERP software is a huge plus, but not required
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations related to payments and account balances.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
