Registered Nurse - Emergency Medicine

Location: Johnstown, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shifts are variable and may include Days, Nights, and Mids.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population including adults and pediatrics, and will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing appropriate care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients.
• Conduct assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Basic nursing skills with trauma and critical care experience preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS; CEN is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
