# Enterprise ArchitectApply**Job#: 3043555****Job Description:**Enterprise Architect**Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Hybrid)****Duration: 12 months**Role OverviewAn opportunity is available for an Enterprise Architect to support Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology (ERFT), Employee Experience Technology (EET), and other cross-line-of-business domains. The primary responsibilities will be to develop, institute, socialize, and govern architecture strategies, blueprints, and related frameworks. This role will also involve architecting and designing comprehensive end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements for a given portfolio and supporting the creation of high-level designs when necessary.Key Responsibilities* Create and maintain domain architecture strategies, blueprints, and roadmaps to show system evolution from current to target state.* Participate in architecture consulting to enable design decisions and lead design sessions where appropriate.* Act as a control function to ensure designs adhere to blueprints, architectural principles, and enterprise standards.* Support the compliance of designs with all relevant local laws and regulations.* Identify risks to resolve issues and conflicting priorities, influencing a positive and effective outcome.* Leverage technical expertise to support vendor selection, including recommendations for build vs. buy decisions.* Support the development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate designs.* Contribute to the creation and evolution of architectural patterns, principles, and guidelines.* Support the execution of the architecture governance board.* Provide inputs to annual financial planning and other related activities.Required Qualifications**Education:** BSc-level degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience.**Experience:** Experience with enterprise-level technology strategy in an architecture organization.**Technical Skills:*** Application development knowledge and experience (Enterprise Applications, distributed services, design, analysis).* Certification or extensive experience in architectural methodologies and standards (e.g., UML, BPMN).* Knowledge of architecture, quality, and productivity methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Agile).* Familiarity with modern application development and deployment (Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery).* Broad-based IT knowledge (hardware, software, middleware, databases, cloud).* Deep knowledge of Financial Services.**Leadership and Communication Skills:*** Ability to understand and empathize with the key challenges faced by sponsors and stakeholders.* Experience managing senior stakeholder expectations and building trust.* Capacity to provide strategic vision based on balanced risk, financial, process, and resource factors.* Skill in interpreting business needs and promoting innovative technology solutions.* Ability to translate complex concepts into multiple architectural "views" for varying audiences.* Experience working effectively in a matrix organization with minimal supervision.Preferred Qualifications* Experience resolving and influencing the positive outcome of conflicting objectives and priorities.* Strong, proactive leadership capabilities.* Ability to stimulate and participate in creative thinking for out-of-the-box solutions.* Willingness to learn fast and adapt quickly to change.* Excellent written (technical) and verbal communication skills. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
