RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• 4-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios
• Stay late 1-2 times per week as needed
• Float within scope of practice and experience
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Critical care experience required, PreOp experience preferred
• Work with GE Carescape Monitoring and Fuji ultrasound equipment
• Use Cerner documentation system
• Perform large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessments
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Transport patients to OR and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep
• Must demonstrate excellent documentation skills, ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong critical thinking skills and excellent communication with interdepartmental teams required
• Unit staffing includes RNs with support from CNC, secretary, and manager shared with CVOR
• Scrubs provided as part of dress code requirements
