Travel Nursing Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010 Location: Garfield Heights, Ohio, near Cleveland Healthcare Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Contract: 13 weeks Start Date: November 13, 2026 Schedule: 3 shifts per week Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM Hours: 36 hours per week Openings: 2 Orientation: 16 hours Registered Nurse Job Requirements At least 1 year of combined permanent medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or an active compact-state nursing license in hand at the time of submission Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association NIHSS certification must be obtained before the start date Demonstrated experience interpreting and managing cardiac dysrhythmias One recent specialty reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, director, or charge nurse from within the past 12 months Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation Ability to complete required background screening, fingerprinting, health screening, and pre-start education COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions may be considered Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients during overnight shifts Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly recognize changes in patient condition Interpret dysrhythmias and initiate appropriate interventions within scope of practice Administer medications safely and accurately while evaluating patient responses Perform assessments, develop and update individualized plans of care, and document patient progress Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge needs Escalate clinical concerns promptly and respond effectively to changes in patient status Located just minutes from the attractions, dining, parks, and cultural experiences of the greater Cleveland area, Garfield Heights offers an excellent setting for your next Ohio travel nursing assignment.
