As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and dedication to excellence will help us deliver exceptional care that exceeds our residents' expectations.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and groomingAssist with medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and other medical procedures as neededDevelop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with our interdisciplinary care teamMaintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progressCollaborate with our rehabilitation team to support residents' recovery and development of new skillsProvide emotional support and comfort to residents and their familiesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and respectful work environmentRequirementsCurrent certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of FloridaHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to work evening shift, with flexible scheduling as neededStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredAbility to lift, move, and transfer residents as neededAt Palmetto Care Center, we are committed to maintaining a facility where compassionate health care, nursing, and rehabilitation services are provided in an environment of respect, dignity and personal attention to the needs of the individual.
