Shift Type: Day shift, 10-hour shifts with variable days, alternating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34.65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from patients in a hospital and clinic setting
• Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Provide excellent patient care and comfort during procedures

Qualifications

• Active Phlebotomy certification (preferred)
• BLS certification (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience
• Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques
• Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
