Bayshore Animal Hospital Port Orange is hiring a veterinary assistant or technician for our Port Orange location.

This is a unique opportunity to serve people and their pets with a caring and motivated team that is both experienced and welcoming. We value the health and happiness, not only of our client's pets, but our staff as well. We strive to create a service-oriented, drama-free, work environment. No emergency, or weekend hours. Candidate must be flexible to be able to work one day a week at our Ormond Beach location with our team if needed.

For this veterinary assistant/technician position, experience is preferred but not required. Avimark veterinary software experience is a bonus. Skill set must include basic general knowledge of using a computer, ability to restrain dogs and cats of various sizes and a willingness to learn new procedures and techniques. We are very willing to train you in specific areas as long as you are willing to learn. Must be capable of being a multi-tasker, quick learner, server of customers, lover of pets, hater of workplace drama, and work at a fast pace when necessary. Salary and benefits are ultimately negotiable and commiserate with experience. A brief working interview will likely be required before hiring.
