Roanoke-Chowan has 3 main ORs; cases are mainly bread and butter and include but are not limited to, General surgery, Ob-Gyn, Dental, and Healthy Peds, Podiatry, Pain Management, GI, Endoscopy. Physicians will perform labor epidurals on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
The anesthesiologist will be an employed physician of East Carolina Anesthesia Associates, one of the largest anesthesia private practices in North Carolina. The practice is managed and operated by the anesthesiologists that provide services at its various sites across the state. The most beneficial part about this structure is that the incumbent will have significant autonomy, but immediate support when and if needed. Our Eastern teams work collaboratively together to ensure that our anesthesiologists and CRNAs are comfortably assimilated into their role and within the practice.
Ahoskie is a rural town located in the northeastern part of the state and has that “small town charm”. This town is great for those that want autonomy in their work and love the outdoors. Ahoskie is an hour from Rocky Mount, Greenville, Roanoke Rapids, and just an hour and a half from the Outerbanks and Virginia Beach shorelines.
