The position offers significant responsibility, meaningful client interaction, and the opportunity to work alongside highly accomplished labor and employment attorneys in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in California, in good standing4+ years of substantive California employment litigation experience (Associate level consideration)Attorneys seeking Of Counsel consideration should possess 9+ years of relevant California employment litigation experience and demonstrated first-chair litigation capabilitiesExperience defending employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and related workplace claimsExperience representing employers in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative agency mattersClass Action and/or PAGA experience preferred, but not requiredStrong knowledge of California and federal employment laws and administrative proceduresDemonstrated ability to independently manage litigation matters from inception through resolutionExcellent written and oral advocacy skillsExceptional attention to detail and commitment to client service excellenceStrong organizational, time management, and project management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to professionalism, collaboration, and teamworkPrior large law firm experience is preferredKey ResponsibilitiesDefend employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters and agency proceedingsHandle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparationRepresent employers before state and federal administrative agenciesAdvise and counsel employers on employment law compliance and workplace issuesConduct management training on employment and labor law topicsHandle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, employment torts, contract claims, non-compete issues, and class or representative actionsCollaborate with attorneys across multiple offices and practice areas to provide strategic, business-oriented legal counsel to clientsWhy Join Us?This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the nation's most respected labor and employment law platforms.
