ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) to join our growing healthcare team, delivering exceptional urgent care to patients across New England. Your impact will include:
- Patient Interaction: Engage with patients in a welcoming and professional manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance and information regarding their medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Support clinical operations and patient care.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications under the supervision and direction of licensed healthcare providers, adhering to state regulations and guidelines for medication administration.
- Collaboration with Clinical Team: Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
Required availability includes:
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in consecutive and or non-consecutive days.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays.
- If needed, must be able to work at a minimum of three other ConvenientMD locations within a one hour travel distance from your primary clinic.
- Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one hour commute.
Who you are:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- State license as Advanced Emergency Medical Technician; national certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
- Compassionate, authentic, and patient focused.
- Proactive and confident communicator (written and verbal).
- Trustworthy: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Effective communicator and cross collaborator.
- Excellent team player.
- Technically savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, experience with or ability to learn Experity as well as other business systems.
Bonus qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as an AEMT.
- 1-2 years of patient triage experience in an urgent care or emergency department preferred.
