How you'll contribute A Surgical Technician who excels in this role: Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment, including instruments, equipment, and supplies Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating surgical needs Perform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies to ensure patient safety Handle, label, and maintain specimens according to protocol Clean, sterilize, and restock surgical instruments and operating rooms following procedures Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Free Parking What we're looking for Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Additional requirements include: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (or eligibility to obtain within a specified timeframe) Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire 6 months of on-the-job experience in a healthcare facility Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and instrumentation Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills & exercises sound and decisive judgment Able to work independently with minimal supervision Performs effectively in a fast‑paced, stressful environment Takes appropriate action in urgent or high‑pressure situations More about Spring View Regional Hospital Spring View Regional Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier® with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast.
