About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Tuesday and Thursday with a floating day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital CT Tech experience License: BLS Certifications: ARRT (R) Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital CT Tech experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This position is for a travel CT Tech. The unit consists of 3 CT scanners, soon to be 4. The staff includes a mixture of full-time, part-time, and PRN employees. The typical staffing for day shift includes one charge tech and four techs. Night shift staffing includes two techs. Patient ratios are not applicable. The equipment includes a GE Revolution 512 scanner and multiple GE scanners. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and customer service skills. The workload can be fast-paced, requiring the ability to multi-task and work independently. Typical procedures performed include stroke, trauma, head and chest scans, as well as abdomen/pelvis and CT angiography. The facility is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence and serves as a Level 1 Trauma center. The work environment offers access to outdoor recreational activities in all seasons.
