Software Engineer - Full Stack AI Engineering

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 3+ years of applied experience.
• We need hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We expect experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database query languages.
• We require hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot or Claude for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation, with the ability to review, validate, and refine AI-generated output for correctness, performance, and security.
• We expect understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations.
• We need overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• We require experience with Hibernate and Spring JPA, plus database design best practices for AWS Postgres, to build scalable services that support multiple global regions.
• We need experience building scalable REST APIs and knowledge of GraphQL.
• We expect a solid grasp of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Preferred: knowledge and experience with Kafka, including Avro design, AVRO schema registry, Kafka topic partitioning, and exception handling.
• Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React.
• Preferred: exposure to public cloud technologies, especially AWS.

• We execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting, using creative approaches to solve complex problems.
• We create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with the appropriate systems.
• We leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assistants to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables, while validating results through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• We apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle tools, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered through automation.
• We produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are reflected in the software we build.
• We gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize data from large, diverse datasets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
• We proactively identify hidden issues and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
