You’ll build your skills with training, guidance, and coaching as you grow. With support from advanced technology and a Client Care Specialist, you’ll focus on reviewing each client’s tax situation, offering clear advice, and building trust. This role is in‑person and not remote. Required Qualifications Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course1 Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions Comfort using digital tools and systems as well as AI-based tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT High school diploma / GED / equivalent Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Experience in a client-facing or consultative role, such as financial advising, insurance, retail sales, or professional services Experience using client discovery skills to understand needs and recommend solutions Ability to work 15–35 hours per week, with availability up to 40 hours during peak periods Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season Why work for us At H&R Block, our purpose is simple: to provide help and inspire confidence in our clients and communities everywhere.
