PATIENT AMBASSADOR (FULL TIME)

Position: Patient Ambassador (Full-time) Location: Atrium Health Cabarrus – 920 Church Street North, Concord, NC 28025. Online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and 10:00 am to 7:30 pm; days may vary. Rotating weekends and holidays included. Requirement: Previous customer service and Microsoft Excel experience required. Pay Range: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. Job Summary As a Patient Ambassador, you will serve as the primary representative of the Patient Experience Team for your respective unit. Your main responsibilities are to successfully complete all assigned patient interviews and new admission visits within the timeframes established by unit leadership and patient experience leadership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct new admission visits to all assigned units within established timeframes. Ensure all employees demonstrate an aggressive hospitality (respect) orientation toward customers and clients. Support client satisfaction and account retention. Promote awareness of the Patient Experience Program. Assist in customizing programs to meet each account's unique needs as required. Assist in developing and/or monitoring a department/unit patient satisfaction action plan and reporting to clients as needed. Support effective employee relations programs at unit site. Encourage employee creativity and innovation.Provide recognition for employees when programs are implemented successfully. Complete housekeeping tasks when requested by customers or patients. Resolve housekeeping issues that do not meet standards and ensure timely completion. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Thorough knowledge of office procedures and contract administration. Ability to use working knowledge of the environment to meet established goals and objectives. Fiscal and budgetary skills.
